You may have noticed all my recent blog posts have been about AI. The same goes for most tech bloggers. Why? Because these days it is impossible to imagine software development without heavy use of AI agents. Every day there will be less and less manual tinkering as agents take over. Being able to think like a computer will lose its market value and there is no way back.
It's such a profound change that I can hardly think or talk about anything else. On the one hand I deeply enjoy all the new possibilities. On the other hand, it's scary to know my work is changing drastically, yet I have no idea what it will look like one year from now given the speed of these changes.
If you don't work in software engineering and don't want to work with AI, you might think you are safe, but you are wrong. The LLM revolution will affect every job behind a computer. It is already happening, and faster than most people expect.
